Anticoagulation Clinic

At Coastal Heart Medical Group we provide close monitoring of INR (International Normalized Ratio) for
our patients that are on blood thinners such as Coumadin. Anticoagulants (blood thinners) are used to
prevent and treat patients that are at risk of stroke due to such conditions as atrial fibrillation,
placement of mechanical heart valves, pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis.
